Hi, I'm Casey, and I'm so glad you're here!
We all need to eat, so let’s enjoy food together.
I’m Casey Seiden, a registered dietitian with a mission to help you uncomplicate nutrition, and enjoy cooking and eating all foods with less stress. I help women gain confidence in navigating their relationship with food and health in order to feel their absolute best. We all eat, so my goal is to journey the road together, and support you to eat well through realistic and nourishing recipes, sharing advice and thoughts on finding peace with food and your body, and personalized nutrition coaching.
If you’re ready to find an easy, balanced approach to eating delicious foods that results in living your healthiest and happiest life, you’ve come to the right place!
My approach as a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator is grounded in an “all foods fit” approach, which means I believe that no foods are “off limits” and that nutrition is not always an absolute or black and white science for everybody. Nutrition and health is individual, and so I focus on helping you cultivate personal habits, behaviors, and beliefs that work for YOU and will be sustainable for the long-haul.
After years of studying nutrition science and working with hundreds of individuals, I can say I know what contributes to overall health, but there are many approaches to how to achieve that. My advice to eat more vegetables and plants, engage in daily movement, and practice self-care seems pretty simple, but the loud chatter and promises of diet culture can lure us in and lead us down a road of restriction, confusion, and feelings of failure. One thing I know for sure is that restrictive diets, detoxes, and yo-yo dieting are not the best “how” that will result in long-term health.
The most successful approach I’ve seen to result in improved overall health starts with noticing, observing, and checking-in with how food makes us feel and then adapting and committing to a new mindset and behaviors.
Nutrition and health is not about what’s “right” or focusing on what you think you “should” be doing, it’s about finding what works for you. I also know that proper support is crucial to making these habits stick. Everyone deserves to achieve personal wellness and a peaceful relationship with food.
Join me in eating delicious food and living a healthy life you truly love.
